‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Paul, Michelle ‘make amends’

Paul -You better be ready for a fairly quiet week when it comes to the “Big Brother” house, given that there is a plan that is already set in stone, and we’re not entirely sure that some of the people left on the other side are savvy enough to do anything about it.

At present, Nicole has the Power of Veto, and she has no plans on using it. That means that Paul and Michelle are both going to remain on the block through Thursday, but if the current plan holds, she will get rid of her target and make the remainder of the season all about three different pairs: Her and Corey, Paul and Victor, and then James and Natalie. In the end, we think this is the right move for her by a wide margin given that Big Meech is the only person really after her, and the other pairs are liable to go after each other. While James and Natalie may be upset about this, at the same time Nicole didn’t break her word to either one of them.

Last night, Paul and Michelle buried the hatch following their days-long fight with an argument, one where he apologized for some of his terrible remarks to her while she apologized for calling him an Athiest and intentionally riling him up. How genuine any of this was should be a topic up for debate; Michelle has been told Paul is going, and may have thought of this as jury management. Meanwhile, Paul thinks she is going and did the same thing.

Strategically, we do think Paul played this off the better of the two, but we’ve said that about almost any interaction so far this season. While we think Nicole’s making the right move for herself in the short-term this week, she needs to really rely on competition wins from her and Corey the rest of the way or hope James and Natalie does her dirty work for her. Paul’s the best player remaining, with Nicole maybe a fairly-distant second.
