‘Zoo’ season 2, episode 10 preview: Can Mitch, Abraham save Jackson in time?

On next week’s new episode of “Zoo,” we’re going to inch ever closer to the finale, and do so with an episode that could put the entire plot into jeopardy. Remember here that Jackson is much of the key to the cure, and with him missing, we’re going to see an enormous struggle trying to ensure that nothing bad happens.

The title for this episode is “Yellow Brick Road,” which is the sort of name that implies hope and something bright and fantastic. We’re not so sure that lies up with the synopsis that we’ve got below via CBS:

“With Jackson missing, Mitch and Abraham race to find him before General Davies (Peter Outerbridge) and the International Animal Defense Group can locate him and prevent the team from making a cure. Also, Jamie, Dariela and Allison (Joanne Kelly) make a last-ditch effort to convince the Russian government to drop out of the Noah Objective.”

With an episode like this, it’s certainly possible that this could go from bad to worse. For example, consider the possibility that Davies actually finds Jackson and captures him, which makes that rescue effort all the more difficult. Given that there are still three episodes after this one, you better presume that there are going to be some ramifications of whatever happens here. It’s also going to be exceptionally crazy now that Jackson knows the truth about his father due to Abe.

As for the efforts towards, Russia, we only have two words to offer up: Good luck. It’s not exactly easy to convince a government to do anything.
