‘Chicago PD’ season 4 spoilers: The immediate struggle for Lindsay, Halstead, and Voight

With the premiere of “Chicago PD” coming up in a little bit more than a month, doesn’t now feel like the right time to start to get some further information regarding what is coming up? There are a complicated series of stories ahead, with one of the central ones being about Lindsay in the aftermath of what she saw Voight doing. She’s someone who has looked at him in order to be on the straight and narrow. Yet, at the same exact time, she’s now seen him commit this heinous act that brings him back to his own dark side.

Is it possible that Lindsay could cover for him, or even take the fall? While it’s not something we initially thought of as a possibility, it does at least appear as though it is possible based on what Jesse Lee Soffer had to say on the subject to TV Guide:

“[Voight’s] a father figure to her … So she’s going to try to take care of him. … What’s really important for Halstead is making sure that Lindsay doesn’t end up in jail, Lindsay doesn’t end up going down with Voight.”

With that in mind, one of the biggest stories for Halstead and Lindsay this coming season will involve the two trying to take care of one another, and make sure that they each remain in a place where they can help the other one out. There are elements of this show and this story that are delicate, and they need to be careful that they do not do anything that causes a massive spiral and puts them back into a place where they once were.
