‘Ballers’ season 2, episode 6 preview: Charles’ struggle; Joe versus Andre
On Sunday night’s new episode of “Ballers” on HBO, we saw transitions for many different characters. For example, Spencer is already doing his part to convince Travis to embrace a little more normalcy. Meanwhile, Charles got a chance to join the Miami Dolphins’ front office, Reggis got barfed on while looking for a new exotic animal, and Ricky got some unusual advice while determining where his future home could be.
So where is the show going from here? Let’s do our part to offer up a few teases…
Spencer – While he and Travis have a few things in common, the latter’s attitude is the big problem. He’s a hot-head who thinks that he knows what is right all the time, and Spencer’s going to have to keep the peace between him and one of his critics.
Charles – The great news about working in the front office is that he won’t get cut because of his physical presence. The bad news is that he is going to deal with administering bad news now.
Joe – We know that he and Spencer are out to get Andre, and there’ll be a major confrontation between the two of them in this episode.
Ricky – We’ve seen a little bit of his father Dennis over the course of the season, but he’s going to turn up in a big way soon as he makes the decision to have a much larger presence than ever before in his life and his decision-making. Is that something that Ricky is going to be willing to embrace? Time will tell.
