‘Zoo’ season 2, episode 9 preview: ‘Sins of the Father’ leads to key Jackson decision

On Tuesday night’s new episode of “Zoo,” we learned many things, whether it be Abe’s tougher side to how far he was willing to go to get information on Davies to some of the current plans in order to reverse mutation. He’s not dead in the end, but it certainly appeared that way at one point. Given that we’re nearing the end of the season now, you have to anticipate that things are only going to speed up and become more intense here on out.

Next week’s installment is entitled “Sins of the Father,” which is mostly interesting in that this is a title that we have seen on many other shows over the years. Given what Jackson’s father has done on this particular show, though, it makes sense. Also, we’re going to see Mitch’s father Max Morgan in the process. Robin Thomas is going to guest-star as the character in the episode, and the two could be teaming up to figure out where the final set of triple-helix animal bones are located.

As for Jackson, the CBS synopsis revealed that he could be facing the “most difficult decision of his life.” We’re not sure how they could make that sound any more epic if they tried. What we do know is that at the end of tonight’s episode, it was revealed that Jackson’s mother was a killer, a move that may have happened due to injections that were done to her by Oz. If this is true, then he may have to decide to tragically put her down. We’d hope that there is a better way, but it’s a precarious position given that keeping her alive could mean others dying.
