‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Could Luke Pell – Chase McNary announcement come tonight?

We know that there are many people out there excited to see who the next star of “The Bachelor” will be. Unfortunately, here’s the bad news: There is no guarantee you’re going to be figuring that one out anytime soon.

While the show does tend to reveal the next Bachelorette at the end of their current “Bachelor” season, it typically does not work in reverse. For example, Ben Higgins was not named the star of “The Bachelor” the night that Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season came to a close; instead, the show waited for an “After Paradise” episode a few weeks in to make the big reveal. We wouldn’t be surprised this time if there was no formal announcement until the end of “Bachelor in Paradise,” though the show could always surprise us and let the cat out of the bag a little bit early.

As for who is the favorite to end up with the role, right now you don’t have to look any further than Luke Pell. He is by far the name we’ve heard mentioned the most, and he seems to have just about everything going for him. He is well-liked among the other guys this season, he’s got the perfect story for the show, and there will be no shortage of women who want to date him. He’s got that southern charm, and to go along with it, there’ll be plenty that respect him for his time in the military.

The only other possible candidate for the role we can think of is Chase McNary, but we see him more in the Nick Viall spot of getting some consideration, but probably not enough to be hired as the lead.
