‘America’s Got Talent’ results: Did Dunkin’ Save help Deadly Games, Hara, Lori Mae Hernandez?

AGT -Tonight, “America’s Got Talent” brought us the first elimination show of the season, and it was one with a TON of drama. We felt going in that Outlawz, Dorothy Williams, and Daniel Joyner all had more or less no chance of going through, and it could be between Musicality, Sila, and Hara as to who stays and who goes. There were a lot of acts who felt like locks, including Laura Bretan, Jon Dorenbos, and our personal favorite Tape Face.

We’re going to present all of the results tonight in REAL TIME, which means that we’ll be updating this article over the course of the show. Stay tuned for more!

Dunkin’ Save – Yep, it’s back. The three acts on the bubble tonight were Deadly Games (they deserve to go straight through), Hara, and Lori Mae Hernandez. We don’t really love the idea of one of them not moving on, but Deadly Games and Lori Mae are probably our choices (and we don’t often side with kid acts).

Now, let’s move on to the advancing acts.

Laura Bretan – No surprise at all here. Going last + being a Golden Buzzer = win.

Jayna Brown – Not that surprising at all, given that she got Louis Tomlinson’s Golden Buzzer and she also had a great performance, even if it was at the start of the night.

Musicality – Remember the days of “AGT” favoring singers heavily? These results are starting to lean in that direction…

Tape Face – Apparently, America loves him as much as we do.

Jon Dorenbos – The NFL star sticks around! For the most part, these picks were all expected.

Lori Mae Hernandez – The Dunkin Save’ was for her! Clearly, there were a lot of Democrats voting tonight.

Deadly Games – After a tie vote, America managed to (thankfully) send them through to the next round.

As for the guest performers tonight, did you expect anything less from Paul Zerdin and Mat Franco? These are the sorts of winners this show needs, since they’re unique enough to go off somewhere else, have success, and be worthy acts to bring back. Sometimes you don’t always want to bring the winners back because they don’t have a whole lot else going on…
