‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Are Riley, Lucas, and Maya facing an interruption?

The third season of “Girl Meets World” has been marked for the most part by changes, so it does make a little bit of sense that we’d also see some more drama in that department when it comes to relationships. Namely, we’re talking about the love triangle dominated by Maya, Riley, and Lucas.

So far on the series, Lucas has not publicly announced who he has chosen between the two girls to be with … despite saying that he has made a choice. This has certainly proven to be frustrating to many fans out there, but at the same time, we cannot say that we are completely shocked by it either. This is a decision that there are many people excited to see play out on the show, and once it happens, will the enthusiasm still be there? We do understand that there are some questions.

What may make this triangle a little more complex is what happens on Friday night’s “Girl Meets Ski Lodge: Part 1,” where Riley could meet someone else who quickly becomes a love interest for her. This is a show that does love to draw parallels with the original “Boy Meets World,” and you do have to remember on that show that Cory ended up getting close to someone other than Topanga while at this same exact ski lodge. It’s certainly possible that Lucas chooses Riley, only to later realize that she has found a subject of great fascination elsewhere.

Given that this show is not entirely a love story, though, we do not exactly expect this to be the only thing going on in this hour.
