‘Bones’ season 11, episode 22 (finale) spoilers: Will the Puppeteer kill Brennan?
The season finale of “Bones” is coming in your direction in one week’s time, and based on what we are hearing about at this moment, it looks as though we could have one of the creepiest installments that we’ve seen to date.
Remember the Puppeteer? They were introduced on the show previously, and moving into the finale we expect them to have a large presence, mostly because of the fact that we could end up finding out the killer’s identity. Meanwhile, at the same time this could be an emotional episode for Brennan as she starts to have some regrets over how long it has taken her to circle back to this case. Take a look at the synopsis below for the episode, which is fittingly and rather-sadly titled “The Nightmare in the Nightmare”:
“The team dives back into investigating a serial killer from the past, attempting to find “The Puppeteer,” who lives with his victims’ bodies before disposing of them. Meanwhile, Brennan works through her guilt over her retirement last year, blaming herself for not stopping the serial killer earlier. However, little does she know she might be in some trouble of her own.”
One of the questions that we had is if season 12 is the final season, whether or not the Puppeteer is being set up to be the last Big Bad. Given that Pelant is now gone, the show needs to find another capable villain to challenge Brennan and Booth. This could be that said villain. Before we sign off for this article, know this: A popular character from the show’s past will be appearing in the finale. We will see what happens!
