‘Major Crimes’ season 5, episode 5 preview: Is Sanchez’s foster-parent future in danger?
Throughout this season of “Major Crimes” so far, the show has taken a great deal of care to give all of its different characters something to do. For example, earlier this season we had some emotional stories involving Rusty, we’ve seen Buzz explore his past, and even tonight we saw some of Flynn’s hopes of having a new house hit an unexpected roadblock in the worst way possible.
Moving into next week’s “Cashed Out,” we could see a story that ends up hitting Sanchez close to hope when his behavior following a grisly case lands him in hot water. Then again, when you are in his job and you see some of the things that he has seen, wouldn’t it unnerve you a little bit, as well? Obviously a foster child needs to be in a safe environment, and we still think that he can provide that.
Take a look at the attached synopsis for a few more details regarding what is precisely coming up:
“Det. Julio Sanchez’s application to become a foster parent is jeopardized by his reactions to a particularly gruesome murder after the Major Crimes Division finds a chopped up body burned to bits in the barbecue pit of an L.A. Park. Christopher Gorham guest stars.”
It’ll be nice to see Gorham on the show next week, just as it will also be nice to see things work out with Sanchez. It’s too bad that, at least for now, there is no precise confirmation of this happening. It’s just one of those things we will have to wait to find out.
