‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Could Jordan – Aaron Rodgers drama unfold on JoJo Fletcher hometown dates?

Next week’s new episode of “The Bachelorette” at least has the potential to be extremely dramatic and then some, and there is a fairly simple reason for it: Hometown dates. Specifically, the idea of seeing Jordan Rodgers on one based on how his brother Aaron got mildly bashed on what we saw tonight. There was a pretty strong insinuation made that he doesn’t spend much time with his family, and with that, of course the writing is on the wall: He won’t be on the hometown date next week. The promo below proves that.

Is the show missing out on some great brotherly drama? Absolutely, but we do feel for Aaron in this situation … which is not something we say much given that the guy has more money than we can possibly count. His brother is using this show as a platform for his own feelings, and while he may care about JoJo Fletcher, that doesn’t mean the two are mutually exclusive. Aaron, meanwhile, probably just wants to focus on football. We just feel bad for the people who watched this whole season and hoped he would turn up.

We would be curious to see if Aaron has something to say on the show over time, since so far this season, his silence on the matter speaks volumes. He’s probably hoping that all of this blows over by the time training camp is here … but that’s unlikely, especially if Jordan wins the whole thing and is there at the end.

Elsewhere, we’re sure that there will probably be some drama, but it’s hard to anticipate it really being that different than any other season where there are some skeptical parents, a Bachelorette feelings indecisive, and ultimately some eliminated guy making a really good case for being the Bachelor down the road. It happens almost every year.
