‘The Last Ship’ season 3, episode 6 preview: What lies ahead in ‘Dog Day’

“The Last Ship” so far this season has been a real quagmire for Tom Chandler, and leading into tonight’s episode there was a literal minefield before him. The good news is that we are going to see Chandler make it out of this situation alive … but that doesn’t mean next week is smooth sailing. “Dog Day” is the title for this installment, and it looks as though all cards are placed onto the table. His future lies in the hands of his plan working out.

“Chandler’s mission comes to a head as he prepares the final part of his plan. President Michener ponders the fate of his presidency.”

When it comes to Michener, it is easy to figure out why is facing so much scrutiny. The press is hounding him left and right about withholding information, and with the state of the world being what it is, the public look towards those in office as a beacon of hope. When something goes the slightest bit awry, who do you think they will blame? The answer is pretty simple, and Michener hasn’t been perfect at all so far.

Now, let’s talk romance! Are we going to actually see something further for Sasha and Chandler after their kiss tonight? We’re not ruling out the possibility, especially given that they left the episode on seemingly good terms. This is more about opportunity than anything else.
