‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 7 preview: ‘Girl Meets True Maya’ and an adventure

The third season of “Girl Meets World” returned to the Disney Channel on Friday night with new episodes; specifically, we’re talking about an installment in “Girl Meets Upstate” that could be very important in the long-term for Maya’s character, as she has spent a great deal of time as of late trying to find herself.

So where are we seeing the story go in seven days? Let’s just say that “Girl Meets True Maya” is going to take us in a very different direction; specifically, we’re going to be focusing much more on the present for the Maya character, and something that could be happening in the immediate future for her as she plans to reverse course on some of her recent actions. The synopsis below offers a little more insight in terms of what to expect:

“Maya wants to do something bad to balance out all the good she’s done lately.”

Yep, that’s it. It’s hardly the most in-depth synopsis that we’ve ever heard, and we have to think that there is a reason for that. This episode is probably of the variety that if one thing is given away, almost everything else can be figured out from that. Clearly, the folks at the network don’t want that. Personally, we want to see a story here that allows Maya’s rebellious side to come out, provided that it’s not such a heel-turn that she ends up getting herself into a hole that she cannot climb out of. Sometimes when you are young, you do tend to operate based on extremes.
