‘The Bachelorette’ villain Chad Johnson may have a fan … in Justin Bieber?
Who knew that Justin Bieber had so much time to watch reality TV? We just wrote yesterday about how the singer was a fan of “America’s Got Talent” favorite Grace VanderWaal, and we’ve now learned that he is an avid viewer of “The Bachelorette,” as well!
In the video below on Instagram, Bieber proclaims that he shares a similar sentiment to Chad when it comes to his very-clear opinion on milk: He’s a fan. You can even hear Bieber’s laugh while Chad is arguing with Alex about it while on their two-on-one date earlier this season. Clearly, Justin’s an episode or so behind; it’s either that or he just felt like picking this up and watching it again.
It may sound funny, but we do actually think that there is something good that comes out of Bieber, or any other celebrity, talking about their love of the show: It makes them more relatable than they would be otherwise. Obviously there’s something that ABC loves about it, as well, since it is a nice little injection of publicity that they don’t have to pay for. It’s not that ABC really needs the publicity since this is one of the highest-rated shows of the summer and it is doing very well in year-to-year comparisons, but we’re pretty darn sure that they are not going to complain.
The next episode of “The Bachelorette” airs Monday, and we’ll have some further news soon.
