The CW 2016 Fall Schedule: ‘The Flash’ season 3, ‘Supernatural’ season 12, ‘Supergirl’ season 2 premiere dates
Want to know when some of your favorite shows are coming back onto The CW? Then look no further! Today, the network announced their full stock of premiere dates for the fall, and what we get from these mostly is that we’re waiting once again to October (smart to allow other networks to premiere first), and from there, we’re also getting a chance to see new series “No Tomorrow” get a launching pad really like nobody’s business.
As with all of the other schedule articles we have written, the times listed below are Eastern standard.
Tuesday, October 4
8:00 – The Flash
9:00 – No Tomorrow (new series)
Wednesday, October 5
8:00 – Arrow
9:00 – Frequency (new series)
Monday, October 10
8:00 – Supergirl (CW premiere)
9:00 – No Tomorrow (encore)
Thursday, October 13
8:00 – Legends of Tomorrow
9:00 – Supernatural (new time)
Monday, October 17
9:00 – Jane the Virgin
Friday, October 21
8:00 – The Vampire Diaries
9:00 – Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (new time)
As you may know already, the network is saving “The 100” and “The Originals” for midseason, and there will also be some ambitious new shows that are also kept until this time. This includes “Riverdale,” the Archie comics adaptation that already has many in the TV industry talking. “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” is probably the show that we’re the most worried about on this schedule, mostly because it is being moved to one of the hardest timeslots on television, and it is doing so even though its ratings were not exactly great before then. It’s going to have a tough time, and hopefully “No Tomorrow” turns out to be a hit given that The CW pushed “iZombie” back in order for it to premiere after their #1 show.
