‘The Flash’ season 3: What does Grant Gustin know?

Flash -

We’re now more than two days removed from the end of “The Flash” season 2, and with that, conversation has firmly turned over to what we could expect on the upcoming third season of the show. Unfortunately, trying to find information on that is like pulling teeth. The executive producers have stayed for the most part really quiet on the subject, and the only person associated with the show to do lengthy exit interviews since the finale was John Wesley Shipp a.k.a. Henry Allen.

Luckily, we do at least have Twitter for some insight via Grant Gustin! There, he made it clear that he doesn’t know what is going to happen in the aftermath of Barry deciding that he would go back in time and save his mother. Yet, he’s exciting to learn more about it:

“I know absolutely nothing about where we’re going in season 3 yet and how we will pick it up after THAT decision … I think we can all make some assumptions … Hopefully Barry can find some peace & regain some confidence. Cocky Flash is fun Flash. Thanks for a fun season u guys. I love being Barry.”

We would be surprised if the entirety of season 3 is all about Flashpoint, especially since it feels almost like the decisions on this show would directly impact decisions on many of the other shows. Yet, this should be an interesting concept worth exploring, since we’re really diving more into the psychology of what makes Barry who he is, and how he will try to move forward in the wake of everything he’s gone through.
