‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: How the [bleep] does Girder return?
From the moment that we first heard that Girder was going to be making an appearance on “The Flash” this season, we had one quick question as a result: How? Was this going to be a situation where we saw an Earth-2 version, or one dropped in from a different time? It was hard to say, but unless there was some advanced sorcery, it was hard to figure out how in the world the character would exist on Earth-1 anymore given that we seemingly saw him do the way of the dodo.
As it turns out, though, Harrison Wells may have had a talent of either keeping meta-humans alive or reanimating corpses, based on the latest teaser that we’ve got for the next new episode airing on Tuesday night. As you can see in a new teaser over on Tumblr, Girder may still be around in what is STAR Labs’ version of a morgue, where the man otherwise known as Eobard may have done some experiments on meta-humans back in the first season. Why are we just learning about it? It’s hard to say, but we’ll roll with it for the time being.
Anyhow, Cisco is going to discover Girder is down there, and this could be a problem given there is no Flash around to stop him. Barry’s off in an unknown part of the multiverse at the start of Tuesday’s episode, and there’s no telling when or how he will get back.
Of course, you can expect that Barry will return, but when? That’s the main mystery for the time being.
