‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 21 preview: Could Meredith convince Owen, Amelia to give it a go?

Owen and Amelia to date on “Grey’s Anatomy” have been a back-and-forth couple, and as a result of that we’ve never really gotten much of a for-sure inclination as to where the two were going to end up. There have been points where we thought they’d be together, but then a whole bevy of complications got in the way and suddenly, it didn’t feel too much like that was going to be the case anymore.

The synopsis for next week’s all new episode entitled “You’re Gonna Need Someone on Your Side”made it clear that these two could be getting closer to getting together, and it is all thanks to Meredith’s help. Also, there’s going to be some more conflict on the way when it comes to Callie and Arizona:

“Stephanie’s relationship to Kyle becomes complicated. Meanwhile, Meredith encourages Amelia and Owen to take a chance and choose to be a real couple. Arizona and Callie are at odds and put their friends in the middle of an uncomfortable situation.”

There are only a handful of episodes left this season, and through them, we imagine that many relationships are going to be put to the test. Hopefully by the time we make it to the end of this episode, we’re going to get a further chance to see more of how these romances come together or fall apart. Let’s hope for more of the former, since we’ve certainly had plenty of the latter.
