‘The Amazing Race 28’ episode 9 preview: One salty roadblock

On the next new episode of “The Amazing Race” airing on Friday night, we’re going to have a shot to see a Roadblock in Indonesia that can seemingly be described in just one word: Exhausting. The remaining teams are going to be working doing what is described as “salting the sand,” and we can at least say that two fairly-strong teams are there doing it at the same time: Burnie & Ashley and Tyler & Korey.

In the case for the former, we have a team that is this season’s Kelsey & Joey. While they have not necessarily been dominant on the race, at the same exact time they have a ton of close finishes near the top. They have to make the big leap at some point; it can be in the final leg, but they have to get there.

Meanwhile, at the same time Tyler & Korey have been a little inconsistent. They’re not physically dominant in the way that Kurt & Brodie are, but they’re athletic enough and smart enough to do well at almost anything. So long as they don’t make any mistakes, they are always a threat to go far and maybe even win the season. We’ll have to wait and see precisely what happens here, but we think that they’re out of the rut that they had for a couple of legs in Armenia and Georgia.

On Friday, we will back with our latest episode review, and of course at that point we will get a chance to see what happens.
