‘Elementary’ season 4, episode 21 preview: Moving past Joan Watson surprise

ElementaryElementary” is a show just full of surprises when it comes to the families of our two leads! Throughout season 4, we’ve come to know a wide array of things when it comes to Sherlock’s father Morland Holmes that help us to further understand precisely why Sherlock has the feelings that he does for him. Meanwhile, we’ve also had a chance to now see that Joan has a half-sister that she never knew about … at least until now. She needed the help of her and Sherlock, and it just so turned out there was another twist as well.

So are we going to see this particular story addressed further next week? If so, CBS is keeping it under wraps; it’s not mentioned in the synopsis below for “Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing” below:

“When Holmes and Watson are pulled into a double-homicide investigation, they discover the victims were staging a fake murder right at the moment they were killed. Also, Watson’s inside man at Morland’s office encounters a problem that threatens to expose her spying to Holmes and his father.”

It is ironic still that there is some other family drama taking place here, which should be further proof that in this show, it never really seems to go away. Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to learn a thing or two more about Joan’s sister in the future one way or another. There are still four episodes left this season! That is certainly enough time. (One reason why she may not be mentioned here, if she does appear, is because these synopses are released long in advance and CBS wouldn’t want to give anything away.)
