‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: Henry Simmons on big Mack storyline
There are not many opportunities that we get through Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” to know some of the characters on a personal level. Therefore, we really do have to take advantage of almost every opportunity we can to see something a little bit more personal. This will be a part of the storyline on Tuesday night’s new episode in particular, as we get to see Mack’s brother for the first time when the character comes home for a visit. This said character is played by Gaius Charles of “Friday Night Lights” and “Grey’s Anatomy” fame.
Henry Simmons was present at the show’s WonderCon event on Saturday, and in speaking about this subject to Entertainment Weekly, he described the episode with the following:
“It was a lot of fun … It was also fun coming off the episode where we had to say goodbye to Bobbi [Adrianne Palicki] and Hunter [Nick Blood], so it was good shooting that.”
In the process, we’re looking forward to seeing a little bit more about the Mack character in general, given that to date, he’s been one of the more under-wraps people on the show. While we’ve certainly seen bits and pieces of his story over the course of the past couple of years, there’s a lot still to figure out here … and we’d also still wager that he is still slowly working to find his perfect role given everything that we did see happen on the show last season, where it felt at times like he was drifting.
