‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 19 preview: Ruzek confronts Roman and much more
It wasn’t too long ago on “Chicago PD” when Burgess and Ruzek were engaged, but things between them are certainly a little bit tricky now that they have split, and it looks like there could be something between her and Roman instead. Ruzek’s been having some pains of jealousy for a while now, and on next week’s “If We Were Normal,” these could rise to the surface courtesy of a tense confrontation.
The synopsis below does a good job of detailing just what you can expect to see in this episode even beyond this story:
“When a call comes in about a woman stabbing a man then fleeing the scene, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Lindsay (Sophia Bush) go investigate and find a young woman with the weapon in her hand. The suspect turns out to be a victim and she tells Olinsky (Elias Koteas) that she was held hostage for months and her kidnapper attempted to psychologically manipulate her into forgetting her identity while he physically abused her. The team sets out to find the woman’s abductor before he can harm anyone else. Meanwhile, tensions are high at the station when Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) accuses Roman (Brian Geraghty) of having feelings for Burgess.”
For those of you who have been looking to see more of Burgess and Lindsay together working on cases, this episode will be your opportunity for just that. The promo below really doesn’t give too much away, at least other than the fact that this is going to apparently be a big episode. Aren’t all of them, though?
