‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 17 preview: ‘Flash Back’ brings you Eddie Thawne, Pied Piper
For everyone wanting to see a truly epic episode of “The Flash,” be sure to watch next week live! “Flash Back” is going to be a huge episode for so many reasons, with one of the biggest ones being that some old favorites are going to be stopping by! Eddie Thawne will be surfacing for the first time since his death, and we’re also going to be seeing Harrison Wells in his Earth-1 form.
Of course, we’re going to be seeing a lot of this thanks to Barry traveling back in time, where he will research another way to figure out how to improve his speed. The synopsis below offer up a little more intel into just how this is all going to play out:
“After the shocking revelation that Zoom is Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears), Barry (Grant Gustin) is more determined than ever to get back to Earth-2 to stop Zoom forever. Desperate to find a way to increase his speed, Barry decides to travel back in time and masquerade as his earlier self in order to get his arch-nemesis, Dr. Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne (Tom Cavanagh), to teach him how to run faster. However, things don’t go as planned and Barry is stunned to face familiar foe Hartley Rathaway (guest star Andy Mientus), as well as old friend Eddie Thawne (guest star Rick Cosnett). Iris (Candice Patton) makes peace with her past in order to embrace her future.”
This episode certainly should be fun, but it’s also going to be a delicate balancing act for Barry to learn more without doing anything that is going to disrupt his future. He will have to be careful, and what complicates that is more than likely the fact that he may not feel like being that careful in the wake of what just happened with Jay. He’ll be, at least more than likely, enraged above all else.
Oh, and the preview below features a wraith. Doesn’t that seem like fun?

But how can Jay be Zoom if in the other episode you see Zoom holding Jay. I might have missed something but i don’t think so.

No one knows for sure. The theory most people are going with right now is that Zoom IS Jay Garrick and the Jay Zoom killed is an imposter.
