‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12 spoilers: Meredith’s love life gets a little more complicated

At the end of this past episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,” we saw Meredith Grey really consider her romantic future for the first time since Derek’s death courtesy of a certain Dr. Thorpe, a man working at the military hospital. At first, it appeared almost as thought she was not even aware of his overall level of interest until some others decided to make that message clear to her.

So how long will this particular story last? The only answer that we can give you for the time being is “a little while,” thanks to the knowledge that he will at least be around come the March 31 episode entitled “When It Hurts So Bad.” The synopsis below does a good job offering up some insight regarding what could be coming up next:

“Meredith takes a step forward with Will but quickly regrets it; Maggie senses a disconnection with Andrew; and Amelia reevaluates her relationship with Owen. Meanwhile, Catherine comes into town and really shakes things up with April and Jackson.”

Catherine’s return has to be almost guaranteed to create a little bit of chaos, mostly because things with April and Jackson already are in many ways chaos. Hopefully by this time Jackson knows the truth regarding his ex’s pregnancy, and who knows? Maybe it will bring them closer together. Even if it does, though, there is still no guarantee necessarily that his mother will have nice things to say. She’s always been someone known to shake things up in one way or another.
