‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 12 preview: Is a traitor in the midst?

Tonight, “Agents of SHIELD” introduced us to what is basically their latest edition of the show, one that included everything from the rise of the Secret Warriors to the new threats that are going to start to boil over. there is a lot left on this show for the team to handle, and many of these threats are going to take a long time to be sorted out in full.

The next new episode of the show is entitled “The Inside Man,” and based on the first synopsis for it below, it feels fairly safe to proclaim that a possible betrayal will be something that stands out and talking for a rather long time:

“Coulson and General Talbot are forced to team up and attend a worldwide symposium on Inhumans, where they suspect Malick has an inside man. As the S.H.I.E.L.D. team gets closer to the truth, an unexpected traitor is revealed.”

Who could it be, and hasn’t SHIELD already been through enough when it comes to dealing with traitors? Both are definitely fair statements. The promo below maps out further what one of the big dilemmas moving forward is going to be for Phil Coulson. Specifically, he is going to have to find a way to come to the defense of Inhumans in the political realm, while at the same exact time realizing that there is only so much that he can do to stop them from attacking him outright. Tricky, no?
