‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: More news on Amanda Stanton – Ben Higgins’ big hometown date

Are there reasons for Amanda Stanton fans to be concerned on Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor“? We’d say so, given that parents on hometown dates do not often fare the best with a couple of exceptions here and there. Our big fear is that something doesn’t go well, and then it won’t work out and she will wish that she didn’t ever introduce Ben Higgins to her children at all.

Ultimately, we cannot speculate too much on the future because we don’t quite know what happens. All we can do is share this part of the ABC synopsis below, which makes it clear that Amanda’s parents are the ones who are a little nervous about whether or not he is game to become an instant dad:

“Amanda introduces Ben to her two daughters at the beach, and he attempts to win them over. However, the bachelorette’s parents question whether he is ready to take on the responsibilities of being a full-time dad and loving husband. Is this ready-made family too much too soon for the Bachelor?”

We know that the preview for this episode showed a little bit of discomfort seemingly on Ben’s part during the date … but we don’t want to make too much of that, given how misleading we know that some of these promos ultimately can be. There are a lot of reasons for Ben or anyone to have a certain expression on their face.

In the end, we certainly have a hard time thinking that this date can go in any way worse than the one that we know Ben is having with JoJo Fletcher, given that at some point during this date her brothers start giving him an extremely hard time.
