‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Can Zoom be stopped, and will his identity be revealed?

Tonight’s episode of “The Flash” can definitely be described as epic and then some, given the fact that we got a chance to see Earth-2 for the first time along with many of its doppelgangers. So where do we go from here? Let’s just say that next week’s new episode will see a quest to stop Zoom like no other … and that could include an unmasking of the villain if we’re lucky. Now does seem like the right time to get to know more about him.

The synopsis below is a good place to start if you’re inclined to get details:

“On Earth-2, the team races to find Zoom’s lair and asks for help from the most unexpected source. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) rushes to perfect Velocity-9 so that Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) can stop the Geomancer (guest star Adam Stafford).”

One of the more entertaining things about the new promo below for this episode is the opportunity we have to see Killer Frost suddenly working alongside our ragtag crew, which could include even Earth-2 Barry. What’s his incentive? Well, everyone has an ax to grind against Zoom, and while Iris may hate this version of Caitlin, she knows that Zoom killed Ronnie and she may know where he is. We’re not sure anyone else does.

The only thing that we can say with confidence at the moment is that the stakes are incredibly high for this episode to match some of the other awesome scenes that we’ve had a chance to see on the show as of late. Stay tuned, as we’ll have more news as we start to hear about it!
