‘Supergirl’ episode 13 video: Astra and Non return!

For those of you who wondered when Non and Astra were going to show their faces once more on “Supergirl,” we’ve now got a pretty clear answer for you: The new episode airing Monday night. The sneak peek show gives you a sense of their plan, and the implications that it will have for Kara Zor-El.

Specifically, what Non has orchestrated is rather simple: A way to ensure that Kara is still alive (fulfilling what Astra wished of him), while at the same time more or less comatose, unable to do anything to stop them. He’s given her “everything” that she could possibly want … even if almost all of that is a delusion. She’s going to be back on Krypton in her dream world, thinking as though she has a great life and the love of her parents / everyone else.

However, the thing that Non tends to forget here is that Kara is a very smart, intuitive person, and over time she may realize that there is something off about this world that has been created for her. As a result of that, there are some new questions that could form, with one of the principal ones being whether or not she can actually get herself out of this dreamscape and back to reality. At least we know that she will also have the help of her friends along the way.
