‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 14 preview: What lies next for Tea Leoni, cast?

Sunday night’s new episode of “Madam Secretary” definitely had a heavy emotional component to it, mostly because of how Henry coped with not only the loss of his father, but also some of the complicated circumstances that went along with it. This proved itself to be a very difficult episode for the character, but it resonated. It is something that almost every person in life goes through at some point, and Tim Daly sold it very well.

So what will Daly, Tea Leoni, and the rest of the cast do next? The next new episode “Left of the Boom” is airing on CBS February 14, but the network is not exactly making it clear just what the story will be other than the synopsis below:

“While Elizabeth oversees a mission to track down the culprits behind a uranium heist in Eastern Europe, she also contends with highly sensitive issues in Saudi Arabia, including the apprehension of two American teenage girls who intended to join a terrorist group, that threatens to dismantle an important arms deal.”

This story is going to feel very much like a change-of-pace it seems, and it is certainly understandable why the show would want to change things up a little bit for this episode. Given that it is follow one so heart-wrenching, you do want to get back to more of the established tone of the show and more of what people remember you for. By and large, the one of the things the show does best is taking on these complicated political situations.
