‘Legends of Tomorrow’ episode 3 preview: ‘Blood Ties’ and the bank job

We’re now two episodes into “Legends of Tomorrow,” so are you liking what you’re seeing? We do think that the show is a lot of fun, with the one disadvantage being the sole fact that there are so many main characters to follow that, at times, it is hard to keep track of everyone.

“Blood Ties” is the next new installment of the show, and this one may focus in a little bit more on a few simple subplots. We’re going to see, for example, an attempt to destroy Vandal Savage’s finances. As a result of that, we’re also going to see a few people put into a particularly dangerous situation. The synopsis below details all of that, including how Captain Cold and Heat Wave could find themselves rather distracted in the process by some of their old ways:

“Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides to weaken Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) by going after his financial assets. Rip and Sara (Caity Lotz) infiltrate Savage’s bank, but are discovered by his men. Meanwhile, Snart (Wentworth Miller) and Rory (Dominic Purcell) talk Jax (Franz Drameh) into taking the jump ship back to Central City so they can steal a valuable emerald. Professor Stein (Victor Garber) guides Ray (Brandon Routh) on a dangerous mission.”

Of course, there is so much more to look forward to beyond this. Of course, we do still have many questions when it comes to what the future of Hawkgirl will be after losing Hawkman at the hands of Vandal Savage, but for the time being there’s no clear word on that.
