‘Criminal Minds’ season 11 spoilers: The ‘Hostage’ crisis
Following “Entropy” earlier this month, “Criminal Minds” season 11 seems to be drifting back into a little bit more of a pattern, one where we are going to see more of what the show is known for: Procedural episodes that give you a defined beginning, middle, and end, where you see the BAU tackling specific UnSubs with every fabric of their being.
The upcoming February 10 episode entitled “Hostage,” for example, is going to feature one of the most horrifying adversaries in quite some time. The synopsis below makes it clear precisely what we can expect to see:
“When an 18-year-old girl escapes from a suburban home where she was held captive for years with two other women, the BAU searches for the Unsub who kidnapped them.”
The blueprint for this episode at least feels relatively clear: We’re going to get a chance to see a variety of interesting twists and turns, some surprises, a brutal manhunt for the person behind the killings, and then also bring them to justice before anyone else is hurt. There unfortunately is not too much more that we can say about this episode beyond that, mostly because of CBS’ insistence these days to really not give too much away in terms of content for this show. We hope that this is mostly because there is something that they are legitimately wanting to hide more so than that they just have an episode coming up where nothing all that important is going to take place.
