NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 5 spoilers: First look at winter premiere!
“Grimm” fans didn’t get a chance to enjoy too much of the story in the fall before the show went on hiatus, but when the series returns with “Eve of Destruction” on January 29, you can basically see an episode that will hopefully answer many of your questions … including how in the world Bitsie Tulloch is still a part of the show. Juliette is gone, and in her place is a woman in Eve who seems to be inhabiting her body.
The official synopsis below is not going to give you all of the answers that you want; hopefully, though, it will still give you a little bit more information as to what to expect in general:
“Nick (David Giuntoli) and the gang are still reeling from the scope of the ambush and the surprise return of “Juliette” (Bitsie Tulloch), but not everything is as it seems. In light of the heightened Wesen violence, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) seek answers from the Wesen Council. Meanwhile, Trubel (guest star Jacqueline Toboni) has some information for Nick that will help him get what he is looking for.”
We do not really get the sense that you’re going to be learning everything that you want to know when it comes to Eve by the end of this episode; there’s no need to. Ultimately, CBS likely realizes that it benefits them so much more to have this be a slow-burn story that plays out over the course of the entire season, and gives us more answers along the way. That gives you something to look forward to a little more.

I’m beginning to think the writers must be losing it or they have a thing for Bitsie. Doesn’t matter how you dress up Juliette/Eve she has zero chemistry with Nick and I doubt she would have any with anyone. Really she dates the guy in real life so you would think it would be natural. I just don’t get their attraction to her character and what is worse is,what effect will this have on Adalind and Kelly. Why not let Juliette go and start concentrating on Nick and Monroe and the gang and their fight.
