‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 12 preview: The meaning of ‘Damnatio Memoriae’
Tonight, “Teen Wolf” blew open the world of season 5B, and to go along with it brought us chaos, destruction, and so much more. This was only, unfortunately, the beginning of everything that is coming up next…
Let’s start with the title for the next new episode: “Damnatio Memoriae.” What does it mean? We’ve already done some digging on that, and basically it is all about condemning a memory, or doing almost everything that you can in one way or another to convince oneself that it no longer exists. There are plenty of things that we know Scott, Stiles, and the rest of the cast would love to put out of sight and out of mind forever, but what could this be?
If you haven’t seen the synopsis for the episode just yet (via SpoilerTV), you can take a look at it below:
“Even without the support of his pack, Scott considers what the Dread Doctors’ success means for Beacon Hills.”
The promo below is really not so much a promo as it is an extended look at everything that is coming up in the second half of this season. You’ve got the return of Kira, some epic battle sequences, and of course more of the Beast. The biggest takeaway here is a relatively simple one: People are in danger. As for whether or not everyone is going to survive, that is something that remains to be seen. We already know that the show has a reputation for making some big moves already.
