Is ‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 12 new tonight on CBS? New ‘Sister City’ photo

First, we begin this particular “NCIS” season 13 story with the bad news: There is no new episode of the show airing on CBS tonight. The show is set to return right now on January 5, and we’ve got another look at what you can expect to see from “Sister City (Part 1)” right now!

This photo is in some ways indicative of what is going to be a very different sort of episode, starting with the simple reminder that we are going to see a whole lot of Abby over the course of the two parts. Her brother Luca is at the center of the story, and it could lead to both Pauley Perrette and Michael Weatherly’s character heading down to New Orleans. The NCIS team will be working alongside the crew from “NCIS: New Orleans,” and the case will bleed directly over into the spin-off, where everything will be resolved.

Hopefully, this crossover is going to be enough to satisfy you, given the fact that there will be at least a one-week hiatus in between “Sister City” and whatever comes next. The scheduling for this show and some other CBS procedurals in January is often a little bit strange, and in February you’re likely to get a run of new episodes every week to go along with sweeps.

Given that we’ve still got two more weeks before “Sister City” comes on the air, we anticipate having some more news on the episode in the near future. Stay tuned for that and more!
