NBC’s ‘The Voice’ results: Did #VoiceSave put Jeffery Austin, Madi Davis, Zach Seabaugh in finale?

VoiceTonight was the most important edition of “The Voice” results of the season, as this was the show where the final nine became the final four. It was a blood-letting that really didn’t need to happen if the show had just had a little bit more chill with their results over the course of the season.

Since they didn’t, let’s just get in to describing some of the news as it started to come out. First and foremost, Jordan Smith is safe. Should anyone really be that surprised by that? The easy answer is no, given that he was #1 on iTunes and has been proclaimed the chosen one for most of the season. Second up was Emily Ann Roberts, which wasn’t a shock based on iTunes results overnight. Still, we wouldn’t have called this happening a week or two ago.

Joining them is someone who is a little bit of a surprise in Barrett Baber. Not only did he perform first last night (never a great sign), but he was barely in the top 10! Remember what we said about Team Blake members getting the edge on this show?

The final artist will be chosen by the save tonight. Who is it between? Think Jeffery Austin, Madi Davis, and Zach Seabaugh. Yes, the prophecy of Blake potentially having three acts in the finale is here, and Zach has a large contingent of young female fans. Our pick, as expected, is Jeffery. The great news is that Jeffery received the Save! He keeps the finale from being turned into “Nashville Star” with Zach, and it also means that Jordan has a little more competition.
