Is ‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 9 new tonight on AMC?
For those hoping to see the immediate aftermath of what happened at Alexandria on “The Walking Dead” season 6, we come bearing some not-so-great news: You’re going to be waiting a little while. There is no new episode of the show coming on AMC this weekend, or really for the next two months.
Just as with the past several seasons of the show, we are now on the lengthy holiday / early winter hiatus, and the series will return with new episodes starting on February 14. There are eight more stories to be told, and these will be followed up directly by “Talking Dead” rather than more of “Into the Badlands.”
Given that the midseason finale ended with a mention of Negan for the first time, we understand the fervent desire to have him show up early in the second batch of episodes. Unfortunately, that is not going to happen. Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been rather busy filming “The Good Wife,” and he will not be turning up until near the very end of this season. From here, he is poised to have a much more substantial role on the seventh season of the show, when the lives of many characters could hang in the balance. (We also wouldn’t be surprised if Negan kills someone right off the bat at the end of season 6.)
Before Negan’s arrival, be ready to see many of the upcoming episodes do their part to try to set up his appearance in epic fashion. There will probably be a wide array of twists and turns ahead, not to mention walker violence in the same way that we’ve always seen it!

Why do they need to take a siesta right in the middle of a hoard of walkers with nothing standing between them, with a loudmouth brat calling for mommy? Wtf!!?

The series feels half-assed already with all the dragging-on of episodes, it may be a claimed 90-ish episode now but there are so much inaction and indecisions, it’s just being impractical and is just virtually the same 20~30’ish episodes as before, also, memorable/notable events are very few and far in between, all I remember is quarrel with an idiot for what it feels like for an eternity and a few thrill on carol’s life just for the sake we don’t fell asleep on our ass listening to morgan’s philosophical blabbering.

Then don’t watch it if you can’t handle it.

Then don’t read my comment if you can’t handle it.
If you can’t even follow your own logic, it’s called being double-standard.

Unfortunately your “Logic” doesn’t stand up and dismiss Martin’s comment. He just read your comment and made a statement about it, whereas you’ve been watching the Walking Dead for quite some time, clearly despising it, yet still watch and complain. You’ve probably even left your fair share of comments about disliking it. And by “probably” I mean I know you have. I’ve seen your name in Walking Dead related things before expressing this opinion.
Martin most certainly has followed his own logic. You just don’t have an actual rebuttal so you resort to petty attempts at trickery to try and validate your opinion even more.

lol it depends how he defines “handle”, I don’t know what kind of fan he’s looking for, but straight forward, unconstructive and cheesy replies deserves a taste of their own medicine, no point making a constructive one if he can’t even comprehend it, if it was you it maybe a different story.
And why you were stalking my posts? are u maybe a fan of my sentiments?

I agree.
From a business stand point, there is no resisting the abundant amount of money this franchise is making(as depicted by greedy picture of Mr. Burns on Martin’s reply)^
This said, I’m happy with the story and characters so far, regardless of the hit the plot and story telling took to “drag-on” the episodes. I think the series should have ended a couple seasons ago and we could have called it a success.
But Ill keep watching, maybe the producers will realize that the “artistic integrity” ,used in the comics and the first few seasons of the show,is what won our hearts in the first place and choose to bring it back.
-by no means am I disregarding the great work done by all these amazing people. but there is a change from previous seasons, and its not a pleasant one.
