Could John Constantine really come to ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2?

LegendsWell, isn’t this a day of rumors when it comes to superhero shows?

Earlier today, the rumor mill first started with claims that there could be a “Supergirl” – “The Flash” crossover coming at some point in May. We’re not sure we completely see that happening, but do we think that it has been talked about in one form or another? Sure.

Now, we feel the same way about the next rumor via the same publication in Bleeding Cool. They claim that the plan for the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow” is for the show to switch around different cast members on a yearly basis, and that Matt Ryan could become a series regular as John Constantine in season 2. Constantine made a cameo on “Arrow” earlier this fall, and it provided a small audience boost to go along with a hefty amount of praise.

Now that we’ve said that, we still think that the odds of this actually happening are a complete toss-up. We certain buy the idea that producers would love for this to happen, but there are so many different variables at play here. Ryan could have other gigs on the schedule, it’s possible that the audience reacts to season 1 in a way they want to stick to the original cast, or producers could come up with a different idea. Ultimately, what we’re trying to say here is that it is probably too early for any definitive moves to be made on a second season without the first one even coming on the air yet.

Now that we’ve said all of this, let’s ask you this question: Do you want Constantine on this show?
