Is ‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 8 new tonight? Also, flash-forward teases!

Crossover -

The fourth season of “Arrow” has been from our vantage point a drastic improvement over season 3, and with that in mind, of course you would want to see more of it sooner rather than later! Unfortunately, there is no new episode on The CW tonight. It’s the day before Thanksgiving, and as per usual this time of year, networks are wary about putting things on the air when there may not be that much of a crowd around to check them out.

When the show does come back next week, it will have its huge two-night event with “The Flash” starting on December 1. Remember to watch both shows! Otherwise, you are going to be completely lost.

For the sake of giving you some extra scoop beyond just a scheduling update (we don’t want to be about just that and nothing else), let’s look far into the future to the big death that is happening at some point. We’ve got proof from the premiere that someone dies down the line, and it prompts the scene between Oliver and Barry Allen at their grave. Nobody seems to know at the moment just who it is, but in speaking to Entertainment Weekly about the mystery, David Ramsey (Diggle) offered up some perspective on the matter by referencing one of his former jobs:

“In terms of what we do, there’s really a death every season, to some degree … They’re offing people every year. It reminds me of when I used to do Dexter. I used to go to the back to the script and see if it’s me who dies. I haven’t done that yet. I don’t know who it is.”
