‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 11 preview: Ducky’s past; Jake, Bishop’s future
Tonight’s new “NCIS” episode was all about helping someone in need, and then also for Bishop, trying to figure out where her relationship stands. This was an emotional hour of TV at times, but there was also some trademark humor jammed here. As per usual when discussing this show, there was not just one story that the writers focused on.
Unfortunately, you are now going to have to wait a rather long time in order to see where this story goes moving forward. There is a not a new episode airing on CBS until Tuesday, December 15, and that will more than likely be the last one of 2015. (CBS isn’t so big on the whole fall / winter finale labels.) The title for the hour is “Spinning Wheel,” and we’re going to see both the return of Adam Campbell as Young Ducky along with Jamie Bamber as Jake. Take a look at the synopsis below:
“After Ducky is attacked by a man claiming to have information about his half-brother who died decades ago, the NCIS team searches for the perpetrator, as Ducky recalls the final emotional days he had with his sibling. Also, with the holidays approaching, Bishop and Jake (Jamie Bamber) discuss the future of their relationship.”
The biggest thing that we hope for from this episode is some sort of genuine emotion, whether it be happiness, sadness, or just some holiday warm fuzzies. The “NCIS” franchise in particular has been very good at drawing emotion out of the holiday season, even if at times these said emotions are somewhat bittersweet.

I actually kinda didn’t mind Ellie at first, but I do not care for the marriage split between her and Jake plot line one bit. Hope they just get over it asap. As for the Ducky aspect of this episode, I’m very much looking forward to seeing Adam Campbell again.

Can someone please remove this incompetent Barbie from the show!
The Bishop character played by this “actress” ruins the show!
It doesn’t matter that Harmon, Weatherly and NcCallum are great actors! This Barbie girl is unwatchable!
I will watch again when Bishop disappears, even Miss Piggy would be a better fit for this show!

Really looking forward to seeing Adam Campbell play Ducky when he was younger again. I really enjoyed him in the “So It Goes” episode in season 12 – great casting!
