ABC’s ‘Castle’ fall finale video: A new (and fun) Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion scene

Castle -For those of you who have been looking forward to seeing some old-fashion, fun sequences with our two leads on “Castle,” Monday’s fall finale may be providing a little bit of that and then some … at least if the latest sneak peek below is to be revealed.

Given that this episode revolves around a crime committed aboard a ship, it only makes sense that we begin with an obligatory Richard Castle – “I’m the king of the world” moment! This is the closest thing we’ve seen in a few years to Michael Scott’s adventures on the booze cruise on “The Office.”

Anyhow, Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s characters are going to have no choice in this episode other than spend time together solving the case, thanks mostly to the fact that they are riding aboard a boat that starts going out to sea. There’s a case that still needs to be solved, and we hope that they can polish off some of their own teamwork skills to get justice as swiftly (and hopefully hilariously) as possible.

Romantically, it seems like the two are on better terms following their time-out-from-a-time-out in Monday’s episode. We know at the same time that they are hardly “back together,” though, thanks to Beckett continuing to lie about her investigation and the severity of it. Hopefully, she realizes sooner rather than later that the best way of dealing with Castle’s curiosity is by actually letting him in.
