‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Does The Atom get brought back to normal size?

Arrow -For those of you out there who are Brandon Routh fans, you have a reason to celebrate with Wednesday night’s new “Arrow” season 4 episode. He’s back! Ray Palmer proves himself to be alive after all despite the events of the season 3 finale … but he is hardly in a safe place. Instead, he has been captured by Damien Darhk, and if that was not bad enough, he has also in tiny form.

The good news for Atom fans is that he is clearly not going to be staying that way forever. As the photo above reveals, he is going to be brought eventually back to his normal size with the help of Felicity Smoak and Curtis Holt. (And, possibly with whatever that gun is. Who knows?) With this comes the hope of an escape from Darhk’s clutches sooner rather than later.

Yes, there is a whole lot of drama that is nonexistent here thanks to DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” coming on the air early next year, but that is an issue that both this show and “The Flash” have confronted all season long. We’ve enjoyed most of these stories really in spite of the fact that they have been somewhat predictable, and we will continue to do so.

Still, we would be lying if we said that we were not looking forward to “Legends” being underway, just so that we can actually look forward to there being mystery and stakes with all of these characters across the board.
