‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 24 video: More conflict coming between Riley, Maya

We are starting to get closer to the end of “Girl Meets World” season 2, and that eventually means an opportunity to see some big events take place.

Following an installment this past Friday that featured the first appearance of Maya’s father, we’re moving next week into “Girl Meets Belief,” a different sort of episode. This is one that promises a wide variety of different things, but at the center of the story could be yet another argument (and subsequent divide) between the characters of Riley and Maya.

This time around, the promo below suggests that the main issue is actually not going to have anything to do with Lucas or what happened in Texas. (This episode was filmed before that three-part special was, so we don’t expect many mentions of it at all.) Instead, this is more due to Riley’s frustrations that her friend doesn’t really have much faith or belief in anything, and it starts to push Maya away from her.

Given that this is “Girl Meets World” (a show that really puts forth some effort into giving characters happy endings), it is hard to envision a scenario where this story ends with some sort of depressing conclusion. We imagine that eventually the two ladies will figure this out, and start to make their friendship even stronger. We will have some other updates on the show moving forward, so be on the lookout for that and some other scoop.
