‘The Originals’ season 3, episode 6 preview: Could Elijah’s past come back to haunt everyone?
Yes, we do all like to pretend like Elijah is the angel to Klaus’ devil on “The Originals,” but at the same time, they’re both human. There are grey areas, and some of the ones for Elijah will become all the clearer moving into the next new episode entitled “Beautiful Mistake.” Daniel Gillies’ character will have some problems come to light, and it is coming at a not-so-great time given that Aurora is in town to basically blow up everything with the family.
As for other great news, the synopsis below makes it clear that Rebekah is returning! The mystery, at least for the time being, is whether or not she will be played by either Claire Holt or Maisie Richardson-Sellars. Both are amazing in their own right, so we’re not going to pick one over the other at this point:
“When Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Freya (Riley Voelkel) realize that Rebekah may be the target of The Strix’s latest plan, they do whatever it takes to protect her. Elsewhere, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) spends time with Aurora (guest star Rebecca Breeds) to figure out where her loyalties lie, while a dangerous run-in with a member of The Strix leads Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) to make an unsettling discovery. Finally, an elaborate scheme created by Lucien (guest star Andrew Lees) leaves Cami (Leah Pipes) faced with a difficult decision to make and Detective Kinney (guest star Jason Dohring) fighting for his life.”
Given what we saw tonight with Cami’s arrest and Hayley and Jackson working for Davina, we have a feeling that chaos is right around the corner. It almost always is with this show.
