‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 8 preview: Stephen Merchant, Analeigh Tipton appear
For some reason or another, CBS has decided against releasing much information regarding next week’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” at least in the form of an official synopsis. Luckily, we still know a thing or two when it comes to its guest stars.
The next new installment is going to feature appearances from Stephen Merchan (“Hello Ladies”) and Analeigh Tipton (who has actually appeared on the show in the past) as potential new dates for the characters of Amy and Sheldon. These two have both proclaimed already that they are going to try and see other people, so this is an opportunity to do just that and after Sheldon seeing Amy kissing another man we are sure that his broken heart (and pride) is going to send him into a dating tailspin of revenge.
Are these relationships going to stick? We’re doubtful on that. Sheldon and Amy are a couple that we believe could still have a future together if Sheldon can fix the real problem in the relationship – his disrespect of Amy. Not only that, but their future could be very different now that the news is out there about Sheldon and the engagement ring. If Amy wanted some progression in the relationship, this is it. However, what we have to wonder moving forward now is whether or not Sheldon can correct the other problems in order for this relationship to work. In other words, he needs to treat her better. The way he treated her in the relationship is not something that anyone would want to deal with long term let alone in a marriage type situation. We are sure that Amy wants to get married and have a family eventually, but not if it’s going to come at the price of her self respect. She has shown us that it is something that means a lot to her and that if she doesn’t get it, then she’s ready to move on.
We’ll give you some more news when it comes to the next new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” soon, so be on the lookout for that.
