‘Supernatural’ season 11, episode 6 preview: Castiel punches Metatron and much more
Do we assume that there is going to be a lot of drama coming up on Wednesday night’s new episode of “Supernatural“? Definitely, but it’s funny how the promo below seems more invested in giving us humor than anything else. We’re fine with that, mostly because we have Metatron and Castiel going at it!
Why in the world does Cas punch Metatron in the face in the promo below? Let’s just say that it has something to do with a challenge. While this moment may be particularly great, the synopsis below makes it pretty clear that there is still a massive struggle ahead to get Metatron doing what he wants him to do. The same goes for Crowley and his hopes at containing Amara, who is getting more and more dangerous by the day:
“Castiel (Misha Collins) seeks out Metatron’s (guest star Curtis Armstrong) help to stop the Darkness. However, Metatron is pretty happy with his new life as a freelance videographer for the local news and isn’t inclined to help the Winchesters (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) or Castiel. Meanwhile, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is losing his hold on Amara.”
By the time we make it to the end of this episode, maybe we will get a sense as to where the story is going to go for the rest of this episode. For now, let’s just say that this has the potential to set a great foundation for the remainder of the season, given that the story for the Darkness and Amara are being set up so well.
