‘Empire’ season 2, episode 7 preview: ‘True Love never’ means finding the fire for Andre, Hakeem
The good news coming out of Wednesday night’s new episode of “Empire” is that Hakeem is still in one piece. He didn’t die as so many were concerned about, but just because you are still alive does not quite mean that you are out of the woods. As a matter of fact, you better believe that there are going to be more troubles coming thanks to his musical ambitions.
The synopsis below (via TV Guide) for “True Love Never” suggests that career is going to come first for the majority of the characters, which certainly is not a great thing for those who are trying to show that they are more than that:
“Lucious explores the possibility of partnering with Jago as he maps out a plan to turn Empire into a global music monolith; at the same time, Andre struggles to find a balance between his newfound values and demanding career. Elsewhere, Hakeem molds Laura into a star; and Cookie pushes to get Lyon Dynasty involved in a major televised charity concert.”
Basically, everyone is trying to find new ways in order to further hype up their career. As for whether or not they are going to be able to properly do that, this is something that still remains to be seen. We’re sure that someone will find success since the Lyon family has a tendency to come out on top. There will probably just be consequences to go along with it.
