‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7, episode 7 preview: Chris O’Donnell directs ‘An Unlocked Mind’

“NCIS: Los Angeles” Monday night presented a story that was very close to Sam. Going into next week, it only makes sense that they would change gears and do something really different.

This brings us “An Unlocked Mind,” a story that is important for a variety of different reasons. Let’s begin first and foremost with the news that series star Chris O’Donnell is directing this episode, and move forward now by focusing on the story of Deeks and Kensi. These two are going undercover! We imagine that this has the potential be an entertaining story, mostly because Eric Christian Olsen and Daniela Ruah’s characters are going to be on an undercover mission! Take a look at the synopsis below to get some information all about what to expect here:

“Kensi and Deeks go undercover as cult members to rescue a former Department of Defense employee brainwashed into revealing classified information, as the rest of the team works to prevent the cult from selling the government secrets.”

We hope that this story will provide for us first and foremost entertainment, mostly because we do not get a sense that anything in here is going to be such that we believe we will be surprised and then some by the outcome. Every now and then, there are some episodes that are meant to just laugh at and smile. This seems to be one of those, and hopefully O’Donnell’s touch as director is going to bring an extra sort of energy to the show that we don’t always see.
