‘Major Crimes’ season 4, episode 12 preview: Jack Raydor returns in ‘Blackout’

Major Crimes -Tonight, “Major Crimes” season 4 returned to TNT. Commence the rejoicing! This is just the beginning of a great run for the show moving into the second half of the season, and we’re going to have a chance to see a wide array of different stories. There will be a run of procedural episodes this fall (as you would expect from this show), and then the series will be coming back early next year to continue the story with the longest episode order that the series has ever had.

Specifically going into next week’s episode, what we figure many are going to be curious about is the return of Jack Raydor to the show. He will be defending a man who is in quite a compromising position, and whether or not he is able to succeed remains to be the seen.

The synopsis below for “Blackout” gives you more specifics in particular when it comes to what Jack is up to. Not only that, but it also provides a little bit more insight into what we are going to be seeing from Sharon and Rusty over the course of the hour. As per usual, everyone has quite a bit going on:

“Jack Raydor (guest star Tom Berenger) is back again, defending a man who is attempting to withdraw a confession in the murder of his wife. A last-second video purporting to provide the defendant with an alibi alerts the Major Crimes team to the possibility of a conspiracy. Rusty interviews Slider, while Flynn is still living with Sharon due to his injury.”

Jack is a complicated character with an even more complicated history with Sharon (and even Rusty). They don’t always get a long and we’ve seen Jack pull some pretty nasty moves in the past. Will he be here just for some help this time around or will he have another agenda to go along with his plea for help?
