‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 5 preview: Will story for Steven Yeun, Andrew Lincoln return?

Glenn

At the moment, we feel really bad for Morgan. He is one of the coolest characters out there on “The Walking Dead,” but the show seemed to pick absolutely the worst time known to man in order to give him a spotlight episode. After all, there is by and large one thing most people out there want to know about at the moment, and it is not him. It’s about Glenn, Alexandria, and everything going on there.

Next week’s new episode “Now” will hopefully provide some more answers as to how Steven Yeun’s character factors into the show; we don’t think that Glenn is gone, but the show is really going to have to sell him as alive (complete with a good reason why) if they want to make this work.

The synopsis below, regrettably, is not going to provide you with much information other than confirmation that we are delving back into the Alexandria story once more:

“Following a number of setbacks, the mood in Alexandria grows grim for the sheltered citizens.”

Here’s the unfortunate thing: While the promo that aired after Sunday night’s new episode did show Alexandria and a whole lot of Jessie, there was not direct sighting of Glenn. However, don’t you have to think they will address it? It’s going to be hard to have an episode in this setting without touching on either him or Nicholas in some shape or form. Fingers crossed for some progress on all fronts!
