‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2, episode 6 preview: We return to Clark Gregg, cast in ‘Among Us Hide…’

Tonight’s new episode of “Agents of SHIELD” was exceptional. It told us an isolated story all about Jemma Simmons and her time on a foreign world, and that means really for the first time ever, we were separated from almost the majority of the main cast.

So what happens when things to return to normal, or at least as much as normal can be, on the show next week? The title for the upcoming episode is “Among Us Hide…,” and the synopsis below offers up a tiny bit of news in terms of what to expect:

“The stakes get even higher as Hunter and May continue to go after Ward and Hydra, and Daisy and Coulson begin to suspect that the ATCU may be keeping a big secret from S.H.I.E.L.D.”

Obviously, there’s going to be a lot taking place, but we also don’t want to forget about just what Simmons could be up to next in the wake of us knowing this story. After all, we understand her motivation for wanting to go back more than ever before. Will she be able to make it there? That’s something that may take a little bit of time to figure out, but we’re thrilled to at least know that this significant piece of the puzzle has been filled.

Now, we have to embrace ourselves for more Inhumans, and of course a chance to see whatever Ward may have up his sleeve.
